Tori & Dean Become Godparents

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott receive the ultimate validation for their command of parenting when their friends ask them to be godparents in the season premiere of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Scout Masterson and Bill Horn, known to regular viewers as the "Guncles," just brought home a baby girl named Simone. The new parents made the godparenting request of Tori and Dean during their first time visiting the newborn.

The news immediately brought Tori to tears.

"Being asked to be Simone's godparent is such an honor," said Dean. "It's like one of the greatest gifts you can give someone. There's so much responsibility with that and it's an honor that they would think that highly of us to take care of their little one."
