Is Maksim Chmerkovskiy Leaving 'DWTS'?

Dancing with the Stars bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy couldn't confirm in a new interview that he'll participate in the next season of the hit ABC dancing competition.

Two-time runner-up Maks, one of the show's most popular dance instructors, told ET Canada, "I still don’t know if I’m on the show."

He said "maybe everybody's going to be really short" this season, adding that, if that was the case, since he's reportedly 6'2" tall, "It's not going to be a good pairing."

ET Canada asked when he expects to get a call back to be on the show, and Maks replied, "I would still not tell you if I did but I'm not lying to you. I didn't get the call yet."

When ET Canada pointed out, "You are such a tease -- If you weren't on the show DWTS ratings would go down," Maks replied, "Contrary to what some a-hole said in the past, it's not my show."

But Maks said that he appreciates the part the hit program has played in his life, explaining, "Look, I'm happy to return every season. Every off-season, something changes, something happens to make me realize how good I have it, and that's the most important thing.  A little bit of competitiveness goes away and a little bit of appreciation takes over and I'm very appreciative of the show and what the show has done for me and for us. And, I shouldn't be really upset about the little things and appreciate the big ones."
