Twenty-five semi-finalists "sang for their life" on Thursday night's American Idol, but only 13 would ultimately make the cut.
Of the 13 men and 12 women, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Heejun Han, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon and Jermaine Jones were chosen to advance to the next round.
Erika Van Pelt, Jeremy Rosado and Deandre Brackensick rounded out the pack as Randy, J.Lo and Steven's wildcard picks.
The excitement didn't end there! Host Ryan Seacrest also announced that Mary J. Blige will serve as next week's mentor, revealing that the remaining boys will tackle Stevie Wonder's illustrious catalog while the girls will sing the late Whitney Houston's greatest hits.
Don't miss all the action when American Idol returns Tuesday, March 6 on FOX.
