"The handwriting was kind of on the wall," said Patricia, when asked if she ever feared that Whitney might be overtaken by her drug use. "I would be kidding myself to say otherwise."

The music icon died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11. Prescription drugs were found in her hotel room but autopsy results have yet to be released.

Patricia went on to clarify that in the Grammy winner's last days, "things were really changing with her." According to Patricia, drugs became less of a problem in relation to her questionable life choices.

"I saw her chasing a dream," said Patricia. "You know, looking for love in all the wrong places."
