'The Real Skinny' Sneak Peek

Countless reality shows and specials document the journey to weight loss -- but few show the struggles those who've lost the weight have to face.

TLC's newest lifestyle special, The Real Skinny, does just that.

Meet Chris. He's just lost a lot of weight and must now trim the 29 pounds of excess skin from his body. Enter Dr. Timothy Katzen's circumferential body lift, where the patient will literally be "cut in half and put back together."

But there are a lot of potential complications and as you can see in this ETonline exclusive sneak peek, Chris falls victim to one of them.

The Real Skinny airs March 12 at 10 p.m. on TLC.
