Patricia Houston Reveals 'Concerns' For Whitney

Whitney Houston was photographed in a seemingly-intoxicated state leaving a Hollywood club just days before her untimely death, and in an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey, Houston's sister-in-law reveals that she was with the superstar the night she was out partying to ensure that Whitney wouldn't get into any trouble.

"I went with her because I was concerned...I know that she wanted to go out and she wanted to have a good time," explains Patricia.

In a previously-released clip from Winfrey's Sunday special, Patricia Houston admits she'd started to see signs pointing to a downward spiral in the late singer. In the above video, Patricia says felt Whitney needed a chaperone to the pre-Grammy party. "I was going as sister/protector," she tells Oprah.

Watch the clip for a preview of the all-new interview. This special episode of Oprah's Next Chapter airs Sunday on OWN.
