'DWTS' Duo Brushes Off Early Romance Rumors

The passion and sensuality that comes with dancing can sometimes be perceived as a display of romance, but Dancing with the Stars contestants Mark Ballas and Katherine Jenkins didn't have to step on the dance floor for romance rumors to begin circulating.

During rehearsal, the dancing duo brushed off the buzz of a potential love affair that emerged when they had merely known one another for less than a day.

"It's every season for me. It's always me," Ballas said. "I think it's 'cause I get the young ones so they're like, 'Oh, you're around the same age, must be something going on.'"

Jenkins chimed in on the rumors as well, stating, "We only knew each other for 12 hours when that first rumor went out, and I was like, 'Seriously? Is that the fastest relationship in the history of the world?"

The two both seemed confident about how their rehearsals have been going so far other than one incident in which Jenkins broke down during a practice for the jive, which will be Week Two's dance.

"I really don't think of myself as sexy in any way and [Mark] was getting me to do all this kind of shaking my bits everywhere," the 31-year-old recounted. "It was just a bit too much."
