'DWTS' Recap: Week 2, Performance Night

Tonight twelve celebrities and their pro partners returned to the dance floor for a second shot at impressing the judges and at-home viewers. How did your favorites fare?

Opera singer Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas jumped and jived to the head of the pack, landing two 9's and an 8, effectively break last week's tie with Jaleel White and Kym Johnson. The pair now tops the leader board with a combined score of 52. Trailing close behind with 49 points are Roshon Fegan and partner Chelsie Hightower who round out the top spots with William Levy and Cheryl Burke.

Actor Jaleel White and Kym Johnson slipped into fourth place following tonight's Jive, taking in a respectable 48 points combined for two nights.

Green Bay Packers player Donald Driver stepped up his game with a lively Quickstep, earning three 8's to secure a combined 45 points. In a surprising turn of events, judge Len Goodman dished a rare apology to Driver, telling him he "underscored" Driver's routine the week prior.

William Levy Responds to Nude Photos Resurfacing

The View co-host Sherri Shepherd and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy remained consistent, once again snagging two 8's and a 7 to take home 46 points altogether.

Soap star Jack Wagner nabbed three 7's for a combined score of 44, while Gladys Knight's numbers dipped significantly for her Quickstep (7,5,7), bringing the singer to a 42 for two week's worth of dancing.

Gavin DeGraw and partner Karina Smirnoff's Jive secured them three 7's, rounding their score out to 41 points.

Tennis star Martina Navratilova and actress Melissa Gilbert round out the bottom with 37 and 40 points, respectively.
