Beyonce revealed Michelle Obama as her ultimate role model in an open letter posted to the music icon's Tumblr yesterday, and it appears the admiration is mutual.

The First Lady responded to Beyonce's message with a few kind words of her own:

"Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to," Michelle replied via Twitter with her signature "-mo" tacked to the end, signifying the tweet was written by FLOTUS herself.

"Michelle is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope -- she's humble, loving, and sincere," Beyonce's original note praised. "Thank you so much for every single thing that that u do for us -- I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."
