As the 30 Rock cast gears up for their live show airing on Thursday, we have behind-the-scenes interviews wherein the stars uncovered the risks of taping a show without a safety net.
While the cast has done a live episode before, having first undergone the challenge in 2010, this time new hurdles have been added. The new script includes flashback to different time periods, which means challenging costume changes for the actors.
"I think what we're basically going to do is we're going to trust the SNL dressers to literally carry people to where they're supposed to be and put their clothes on," Tina joked.
The special episode is taping on Saturday Night Live's stage in Studio 8H of 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
In the remaining two episodes of 30 Rock's sixth season, there are several big plot twists. Not the least of which being Jack Donaghy's (Alec Baldwin) fight to save his relationship with his wife (Elizabeth Banks) even though he is in love with his mother-in-law (Mary Steenburgen).
Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) also has new developments in her relationship with boyfriend Criss (James Marsden), as they are entertaining the idea of having or adopting a baby.
Watch the clip for more, and tune in for the live show Thursday at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
