Emily Maynard will get her second shot at love after breaking off her engagement to Bachelor Brad Womack last June, as she stars on The Bachelorette's eighth season. We have new clips of the show ahead of the upcoming season premiere.

The 26-year-old single mother (she has a six-year-old daughter named Ricki) will have her pick of 25 bachelors on season 8 of The Bachelorette, premiering May 14. One big qualifier for her potential husband is that he be a good father figure.

"I wish more than anything that her dad was still here but that's not the case," says Emily, who became engaged in February 2004.

In October 2004, her fiance died in a plane crash. She remembers the incident as "the worst time in [her] whole life" until the following Friday when she learned she was pregnant with his child.
