Season 11 Winner: Phillip Phillips

21-year-old Phillip Phillips was crowned the season 11 champion of American Idol in May of 2012, beating out Jessica Sanchez for the title.
Since that life-changing moment, the Leesburg, Georgia native released his very first album, The World From This Side of the Moon, which has since gone multi-platinum. Despite recent health scares, Phillips will hit the road this summer with John Mayer.
