Echoing the political path of Hillary Clinton, the six-part limited series event pulls back the curtain on the polished facade of a former first family as they navigate the complex world of political and personal ambition.

As Elaine Barrish Hammond, Sigourney must deal with crises of the State Department while fielding a a vulnerable family on the verge of falling apart, all the while fending off a hungry DC journalist (Carla Gugino) who is bent on destroying her career.
