"Whatever happens, [Curry] will land on her feet, because she's a great lady and she's a great journalist," said The Talk host Julie Chen. "If she does step down from that seat, she will step up to something else that is great."

Dr. Drew Pinsky, who presented the award for Outstanding Morning Show, also had high praise for Curry, although he refused to divulge who he was rooting for to win the award, calling himself a "conscientious objector." Ultimately, the Today show walked away with the statuette.

As an authoritative voice on health, Dr. Drew also shared some insight into Jack Osbourne's recent MS diagnosis, further validating the Osbourne's optimism in facing the disease.

"People with MS today can look forward to decades of potential symptom control entirely," Dr. Drew said. "So, his attitude is positive, and it should be."
