Glee
has some big-name guest-stars lined up for its fourth season, which is creating even more anticipation amongst viewers. The new season's first guest-star is Kate Hudson, who revealed that she enjoyed shooting the show despite rarely appearing on television projects.

"[It was] so much fun," said the 33-year-old film star, who plays a no-nonsense dance instructor in her guest gig on the show. "I had the best time doing the dance number. I look forward to doing another one. I can't wait."

Although she enjoyed her role on Glee, Hudson candidly divulged that performing the dance number and the related rehearsals and training that preceded it was a challenging feat.

"It was really hard," she admitted. "You move so fast. You have six hours of rehearsal...and they put you out there and you just sort of make it happen."

In addition to stepping out of her norm by being on television as well as performing a dance number, Hudson is also playing an atypical role as a stern dance instructor.

"It's good. It's funny 'cause it goes against character for me completely," the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress said. "I'm enjoying it. I get to be really nasty, but underneath it she's got her demons and eventually I'm going to have to try to figure out how to be a nicer person, and I look forward to seeing how that unfolds."

Lea Michele, who was ecstatic that Hudson was able to attend the premiere, praised her for her guest appearance on the show.
