Gene Simmons Causes an 'X Factor' Commotion

It's not everyday you see a rock legend waiting in a huge line just like the rest of us, but that was exactly the case at the X Factor San Francisco auditions, where Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and wife Shannon Tweed waited in line to support their daughter Sophie and her singing ambitions.

Of course, it wasn't long before the crowd noticed him and the madness set in.

"I grew up with music but I didn't want to sing ever before because I didn't want my dad's help with it," Sophie says. "It's just hard when the crowd turns into a mob of pictures, and like, someone elbows you in the face to get a picture of your parents."
