Lindsay Lohan on Her Liz Taylor Similarities

Lindsay Lohan will be slipping on the iconic diamonds of Dame Elizabeth Taylor in a few short weeks, and in this just-released featurette for the Lifetime flick Liz & Dick, the starlet dishes on what she believes made her an ideal choice for the coveted role.

"I relate to her on a lot of levels," says Lohan of Taylor. "Living in the public eye; Dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it's true or not…I personally understand Liz because you're living your life for everyone to see and people are growing with you. You get to a point where you become numb to it and you just live your life the way you need to live it."

The made-for-television movie, co-starring Grant Bowler, tracks Taylor's highly publicized, roller-coaster romance with Richard Burton .

"She is pretty much Elizabeth Taylor, reincarnated," praised Bowler of the casting choice, as there aren't many actresses who have lived a life in the spotlight as Taylor and Lohan have.
