Liam Neeson Comes Clean in 'The Actors Studio'

Liam Neeson is a man of honor, but like many actors before him, the star of Taken 2 has told his fair share of white lies in order to advance his career. In this ETonline exclusive clip from tonight's episode of Inside The Actors Studio, Neeson admits to the big fib he told in order to snag the lead in 1981's Excalibur.

That's just one of the fascinating admissions made by the Oscar-nominated actor during his interview with James Lipton. Although according to the esteemed Actors Studio host, the conversation almost didn't happen. "It took five years to persuade Liam, who is famously wary of interviews, that Inside the Actors Studio was the right environment in which to explore his career," Lipton tells ETonline.

"And then, after he'd been on our stage for four unforgettable hours, I received one of the most gracious letters I've received from a guest in eighteen years. It said in part, 'I just want you to know that I had a very special time with you and your wonderful students. I sincerely hope they got something from it. I certainly did.' They did, I did and I know our viewers will."
