Happily married for 14 years and counting, he has plenty of women in his life to cook for. Just last week at Dancing With the Stars, his wife and two fictional TV wives were in the audience cheering him on. "I had three wives that day and my mistress was played by Peta Murgatroyd," he joked. He'll even be welcoming Peta for a family dinner party at his house soon and hosting Thanksgiving, for the very first time as an American citizen.

"It's like bringing flowers to a woman… cooking for her is even better," he says. In the eyes of googly-eyed women, Gilles seems very deserving of the perfect ten on and off the dance floor, but he begs to differ. Had it not been for the new half-point system, "I would have gotten a nine [from Len Goodman]," he admits. "It's too early in the competition to give a ten."
