Rich-kid-turned-hitman Jason Morgan's fate hangs in the balance this week on ABC's hit soap General Hospital, and we have an exclusive clip!

In the video, Duke Lavery (played by Ian Buchanan) is seen kicking Jason's bloodied body off of a dock.

"You shouldn't have interfered," Duke says coldly.

What makes the scene even more intriguing is that soap veteran Steve Burton, who has played Jason for 21 years, is leaving the show -- leaving fans to wonder if Jason will be meet his demise, or be resurrected by another actor.

Steve's exit has reportedly been remarkably amicable. In August, the actor, 42, told TVGuide, "[GH] has been nothing but a huge positive in my life and for my family. I have no complaints, no negative feelings at all. But it's time to go. I'm going to take some time off and do nothing but relax, just enjoy life a little bit with my wife and kids. I've bought a home in Tennessee, way out in the country outside Nashville."
