Behind-The-Scenes of 'Anderson Live'

ETonline's Jarett Wieselman had the pleasure of being Anderson Live's guest blogger of the day on November 14, a morning that delivered more than its share of laughs as Anderson Cooper's co-host, and B.F.F., Andy Cohen dished about Madonna concerts, the longevity of Psy, crazy-long Gummy Worms, Doomsday preparedness and the delicacies available at joint Olive Garden/Red Lobster restaurants.

And while you can watch all of those segments here, you can not find out anywhere else what happened during the commercial breaks!

As the pre-taped Adam Levine interview aired, Cohen and Cooper took turns posing for photos with audience members, autographing their respective books (plus one woman's girdle!) and participating in an impromptu Q&A session!

The audience questions covered everything from the guys' mothers (both are doing great, for the record) to Cohen's dream Real Housewives All Stars cast (Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, Jersey's Teresa Giudice, Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump, New York's Ramona Singer & Miami's Adriana De Moura). One woman in particular got oodles of personal details out of the guys -- most notably about their endlessly intriguing circle of friends, which includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

When asked how they all met, Cooper said his introduction to Ripa came when he hosted Live! while Cohen met her at a party. As for the two guys, Cooper first said they were introduced decades ago when both were working in news, which drew a curious look from Cohen. "Is that what you're going with?" he asked. That's when we learned the two guys were set up on a date years ago only to discover they had nothing in common before the date even began. "He's not my type," Cooper laughed.
