'All-Stars' Bring Their A-Game to Semi-Finals

In their final bid at making it to the finals, the remaining five Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars competitors took on two difficult dances in tonight's season 15 semi-finals

The late Michael Jackson was honored Monday in the presence of his mother Katherine Jackson with dances choreographed to the singer's Bad album commemorating its 25th anniversary. The All-Stars also tackled a mash-up of wacky dances chosen by another couple in the game.

Leading the pack tonight were Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough who took in a whopping 59/60 points. The pair earned three tens for their Knight Rider/ Bhangra combo and 29/30 (9,10,10) points for an Argentine Tango performed to Michael Jackson's Bad.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani took the number two spot with 57.5/60 points total. The talented twosome earned a perfect score for their sensual Argentine Tango choreographed to MJ's Dirty Diana and a 27.5 (9,9.5,9) points for a creative Caveman /Hustle.

Not far behind, Apolo Anton Ono and Karina Smirnoff landed third place for the night with 57/60 points after scoring a perfect 30 for a Rumba styled to Man in the Mirror and 27 points (8.5,9,9.5) for their spirited Big Top/ Jazz combo.

Video: Emmitt Smith Gears Up for Michael Jackson Tango

Tied for last, Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke shared the number four spot with Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy after scoring 54/60 points for their combined routines.

Emmitt and Cheryl earned 27/30 (9,9,9) points for their crafty Espionage-themed Lindy Hop and another 27/30 (9,9,9) for a tantalizing Tango to Leave Me Alone.

Kelly and Val tackled their Surfer/ Flamenco in near-naked style for 25.5/30 (8,9,8.5) points and 28.5/30 (9.5, 9.5, 9.5) points for their final dance of the night, a Rumba styled to I Just Can't Stop Loving You.

Tune in tomorrow night as two of the five semi-finalists get the DWTS boot. Also, Paula Abdul will grace the dance floor on elimination night with a special performance as well as music from The Wanted.
