Barbara Walters' 'Most Fascinating People' List
Barbara Walters has announced the bulk of her list of the past year's "10 Most Fascinating People of the Year," which includes Argo actor/director Ben Affleck and British-Irish boy band One Direction.
Each year, the longtime ABC newswoman compiles the list -- comprising some of the year's biggest names in entertainment, sports and popular culture -- and conducts interviews with the selections.

Also on this year's list are Olympic gymnast Gabrielle Douglas, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and 50 Shades of Grey author E.L. James. From the world of politics, Walters will interview Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
The No. 1 choice will be announced on Walters' ABC special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year, airing Wednesday, December 12 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
