Michael C. Hall Dishes on 'Dexter'

Dexter star Michael C. Hall dished to ET Canada about eventually saying goodbye to the series.
"If it were left up to Dexter, the character, to write the ending, I think it would probably be somewhat better or at least less complicated than what it will actually be," said Hall, careful not to spoil too much for fans. "As dangerous as it is, his appetite to connect with someone who could possibly accept and embrace the totality of who he is is too appealing ... One thing leads to another, as they say."
Although Dexter will inevitably come to an end, Hall is just getting started, so don't think you've seen the last of the 47-year-old Golden Globe winner.
"I would love to be called upon to do things that were a bit broader," said Hall of his career after the show. "I'll always be a sucker for complicated characters. Hopefully some more will come along."
Dexter airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
