Scott Reeves 'Let Go' From 'General Hospital'

Dr. Steve Webber will soon take his leave from General Hospital.
Scott Reeves, who portrays the Port Charles ER doctor, made the announcement of his unceremonious dismissal from the ABC soap via his Twitter account Wednesday night.

"Hey guys, u know how much u mean 2 me and I wanted u 2 hear it from me," he wrote. "I was let go from GH today and my last day should [be] in Feb sometime."
The star has played the iconic character for three years. Since 1977, Dr. Steve Webber has been played by various actors in different storylines.
