'Amazing Race' Stars Cheer Up Bullied Gay Youth

By KRISTA WICK

December 13, 2012

Flying high off their Amazing Race win on December 9, the Beekman Boys (Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge) are spreading the love to Colin, a gay 12-year-old fan, who is the victim of constant bullying and harassment in school.

In a series of pictures posted to their website Beekman1802.com, the twosome and their Amazing Race co-stars encourage young Colin to push through and "keep going." Labeled as underdogs themselves, John and Brent were the competition's first openly homosexual couple to win.
