Zeta-Jones Approves of Husband Kissing Matt Damon

Although they've been married since 2000, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have had to intermittently kiss others while acting. Such is the case for Douglas' role in the upcoming HBO biopic Liberace, in which he kisses Matt Damon.

In her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that airs today, the Welsh actress talks about her husband's role as the late entertainer Liberace, which involves romantic moments with his lover, Scott Thorson, who is portrayed by Matt Damon.

"If my husband's going to kiss anybody, let it be Matt Damon," she says with a smile and a shrug.

While Zeta-Jones has never kissed Damon like her husband or Ellen did when he visited the show in 2011, she kissed Brad Pitt a while back for Ocean's Twelve. She recalled how Douglas handled it at the time.

"I've kissed Antonio Banderas and Brad Pitt," she says. "I remember the day I had to go to work and I had to kiss Brad Pitt and Michael asked me what scene I'm doing today. I said, 'I'm in bed with Brad Pitt,' and he went, 'Go for it, girl!'"

On a more serious note, Zeta-Jones also discusses her husband's struggle with throat cancer dating back to 2010, which she confirms he has recently overcome.

"These things are sent to try us. We're not the only couple who have gone through adversity," she reflects. "We've come out the other side stronger, healthier, and much better. Everything's going great and we move on."
