John Corbett Snags Role in 'NCIS: LA' Spinoff
John Corbett has been tapped to star in an upcoming CBS spinoff for its popular NCIS: Los Angeles series.
The Parenthood and United States of Tara star will play a former NCIS Special Agent now working as an analyst in the spinoff NCIS: Red, according to multiple industry sources.
NCIS: Red will follow a group of elite agents forced to live and work together as they travel across the country solving crimes. The pilot is set to air as a special NCIS: Los Angeles episode later this season.
NCIS: Los Angeles star Miguel Ferrer will reprise his role in the spinoff as NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger, while Red Dawn's Edwin Hodge will play Special Agent Kai, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
