Sneak Peek: Valentine's Day on 'Big Bang Theory'

Love is in the air today as the world appreciates their loved ones on Valentine's Day. Everyone has their own plans to celebrate the affection-filled day, including characters in the TV world. ET has your sneak peek of tonight's Valentine's Day episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Although they're not the most romantic bunch, the gang on Big Bang Theory are still excited to celebrate Valentine's Day with their significant others. A few of them are, at least.

"Oh, right. Yeah we can do something," "Penny" (Kaley Cuoco) says unenthusiastically when reminded by her boyfriend, "Leonard," (Johnny Galecki) that Valentine's Day is around the corner. "I'm into it. It's just there's so much pressure to make the night special and it never works out."

Penny and Leonard end up going on a double-date with their married friends "Howard" (Simon Helberg) and "Bernadette," (Melissa Rauch) which proves to be a disappointing dinner when the two set off on a trivial argument.

Although his character's Valentine's Day plans don't turn out as he had hoped at first, Galecki claimed that the episode is his favorite of the season so far, an evaluation that was elevated when he also revealed that this season, Big Bang's sixth, is his favorite.

While he didn't want to reveal his personal favorite Valentine's Day memory for fear that he might upset some of his former girlfriends, his on-screen love interest attested to his romantic qualities.

The cast didn't want to reveal any spoilers for its viewers, but did tease an eventful episode. In our set visit, ET gathered that Howard breaks something that he makes for Bernadette, and "Sheldon" (Jim Parsons) and "Amy" (Mayim Bialik) have a great Valentine's Day together.

"I think...they nailed it," Parsons said. His on-screen girlfriend then teased, "It's a...very simply, altruistic Valentine's Day. I was surprised. We could have gone a lot of ways."
