Emilia Clarke: From 'Game' To 'Girls?'

Game of Thrones
star Emilia Clarke sizzles in the March issue of GQ Magazine, where she reveals a deep desire to be on another HBO hit, Girls!

"I'd give my right arm to be, like, a random extra on Girls," Clarke tells GQ. "Just to walk past one of the scenarios. I'd love that more than anything. Only, without the wig, they wouldn't recognize me."

It turns out that while Clarke has been widely heralded for performance as the powerful -- and oft nude -- Khaleesi, starring on one of TV's most popular shows doesn't always translate into instant recognition by the public. Especially when there's a wig involved. "It takes a die-hard fan to actually spot me," Clarke laughs of the long light locks (a far cry from her chestnut mane) she sports to play Daenerys Targaryen.

"These HBO events, where I'll be talking to someone for a fair amount of time, and then suddenly they’re like, 'Oh sh*t! That's what you do!' They think I'm some crazy Brit who snuck her way into a Hollywood party. I keep asking to go out with the wig at night, but they insist there's no way. They won't let me go partying with it on! I would be killed on the spot."
