'Big Bang' Stars Dish on Sheldon & Amy's Romance
One of the burning questions for fans of The Big Bang Theory is whether Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) relationship will heat up to the point where they'll actually have sex. ET's Christina McLarty recently went to the set of the CBS hit to see if the cast was ready to spill any secrets on the quirky relationship!
"It was mentioned this season," Mayim confesses and quickly adds, "that would be my favorite episode!" Jim agreed that the on-screen relationship is definitely headed in that direction, but stopped short of revealing an upcoming sexual encounter. "We've touched a lot more this year than we have before -- and we hugged on Valentine's Day," he said.
Fellow stars Johnny Galecki (Leonard) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) also responded to whether Sheldon gets to experience any "sexy time" later in the season. "I think the world would explode, I don't think I could handle it," Kaley joked. When Johnny is asked what goes through his mind when he hears Sheldon in the same sentence as "sexy time," he responds, "You don't want to know!"
