Given his well-known history of arrests and alcohol abuse, how risky is it to have Andy Dick on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars? The 47-year-old actor and comedian addressed this issue in a sit-down with ET's Brooke Anderson.
"They're right," Dick said of producers who might have concerns about having him on the show. "The Andy Dick is a very risque guy. I mean, you know what you're signing up for."
Dick contests that he has a better grip on his sobriety nowadays, but when it comes to dancing, he ranks his ability level at a two.
Still, his pro partner Sharna Burgess has big plans for the star.
"I am going to push him hard," said Burgess. "This is a competition, and I know he's a competitive person, so I think he can handle it."
The 16th season premiere of Dancing with the Stars airs Monday, March 18 at 8/7c on ABC.
