Everyone wants to know what kind of mentor each will be, and judging from ETonline's exclusive video, Shakira is likely to become The Voice's mama bear.

"I started out really, really young," the Colombian superstar says. "I've been doing this for 25 years, and it hasn't been a path of roses. I know what it's like to feel that fear and the need of affirmation and appreciation. To build confidence in yourself is the toughest thing."

But triumphing over adversity is the greatest experience any artist can go through according to Shakira, who adds, "When you go through difficulties, you value and appreciate the good moments."
