PICS: Candid Celeb Sightings

From the government's fear of Christ's allure as a political activist to the ultimate betrayal at the hand of Judas, History dramatizes the major stories of the Synoptic Gospels on March 24 at 8/7c.

When actor Darwin Shaw sat down with us earlier this month, he hoped that the audience would grasp that Jesus and the apostles were revolutionaries of their day -- all in their early thirties.

"Our part of the story is a bit like a road movie," said Darwin, who plays the apostle Peter. "You have a bunch of guys with this inspirational, amazing man."

Shot in Morocco, the series is narrated by Emmy winner Keith David with a musical score by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer. Watch the video for more!
