First Look: 'True Blood' Season 6

When True Blood left off, Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) had metamorphosed into "Billith," leaving Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) fearing for their lives.

Things don't look much better for the blonde buddies in this first look at season 6, which picks up exactly where we left off.

Also glimpsed in this brand new trailer: Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) turns on on Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Jason (Ryan Kwanten) meets up with Macklyn (played by new cast member, Rutger Hauer), angry Alcide (Joe Manganiello) tears off his clothes and this cryptic message: "It is the beginning of the end." WATCH!

True Blood premieres June 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
