As countless contestants have sung over the last 12 season, It's a Man's Man's Man's World, but American Idol season 12 has officially turned into This Woman's Work as last night's (long overdue) elimination of Lazaro Arbus created their first ever all-female Final Five!

This leaves Candice Glover (ETonline's pick to win), Kree Harrison, Angie Miller, Amber Holcomb and Janelle Arthur performing next week, an episode that boasts the very timely theme: Divas!

This perfectly planned series of events shouldn't come as much of a surprise to any fan worth their weight in tossed glitter as it's been pretty clear from the jump that Idol producers did not want another W.G.W.G (White Guy With Guitar) winning this season. In fact, they went as far as not advancing a couple of truly talented W.G.W.G's so they could ensure the survival of artists like Candice and Kree. Singers whose voices are as strong as their personalities are weak.
