10 Minutes with 'Arrow' Star Emily Bett Rickards

When Emily Bett Rickards first auditioned to play Felicity Smoak on The CW's Arrow, it was a one episode guest spot. What no one could have anticipated was how the electric chemistry Rickards shared with star Stephen Amell would elevate the character to, first, fan favorite, and then second, a series regular.

Although, having now spent 10 blissful minutes with the actress, I am rather mystified the powers that be didn't instantly recognize her infectious energy would bring a much needed levity to many of the drama's weightiest morality moments.

Emily and I recently sat down to talk all about this last stretch of Arrow episodes and answer some of your most pressing Twitter questions. But I'll be honest, there were (more than) a few conversational detours taken along the way.
