Last night at ABC's Upfront party, ET's Brooke Anderson caught up with S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton and Elizabeth Henstridge to talk about this exciting new series ... but found that the pre-pickup secrecy will continue all summer long.

Here's what Greg could say: "Agent Coulson is putting together a crack team of young, sexy, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents -- extremely talented people -- to deal with the world post-Avengers, where superpowers are out there and everybody wants them. And most of the people who do are not very nice."

As for his very memorable death in The Avengers, Gregg wouldn't/couldn't spill on how he's resurrected, but does believe that any future death scenes will probably stick. "I probably won't survive another one," he laughed.
