John Oliver Takes Over 'The Daily Show'

With Jon Stewart's first name and Stephen Colbert's glasses, John Oliver showed up behind The Daily Show anchor's desk to begin his three-month hosting stint.

Stewart, 50, wrapped up his last show on Thursday night before taking a hiatus to direct the geopolitical prison drama Rosewater in the Middle East.

Making light of the host's departure, Oliver, 36, showed up during the "Moment of Zen" segment to take measurements of his new anchor desk.

Stewart also took the time to explain why he's decided to make this movie. Turns out, the idea came after an interview done by Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones.
