Mike Rowe Reveals His Best-Selling C.R.A.P.

Dirty Jobs star Mike Rowe never had a problem getting down and dirty during his eight seasons on the Discovery Channel show and now he's selling off some of the more bizarre items accumulated during the series to raise money for a cause close to his heart.

"Over the course of Dirty Jobs, my garage has filled up with an endless supply of junk," Rowe told ET in an interview. "I call it C.R.A.P. -- it's an acronym -- Collectibles Rare And Precious," he explains.

"My most valuable piece of C.R.A.P. so far turned out to be a pair of satin boxer shorts I wore on camera in Australia, and they went for $1,200," Rowe said. "I'm very flattered. But the underwear went separate from me -- I couldn't present them to the lucky bidder," he joked.

Other popular items that sold on eBay included boxes of fossilized polar bear feces that went for $510 and a baby bottle containing self-extracted horse semen that sold for several hundred dollars.

All proceeds from the C.R.A.P. sale go to his mikeroweWORKS Foundation, a resource center for people looking for an alternative to a traditional college education and seeking careers in a trade field.

Rowe has also launched a separate campaign called Profoundly Disconnected that challenges the belief that an expensive four-year education is the best path for most people, and confronts old stereotypes that continue to steer kids and parents away from a whole list of worthwhile trade careers.
