Elisabeth Hasselbeck stepped out before The View audience for the last time on Wednesday, July 10, hugging Barbara Walters as they headed to the round table. However, one of the ladies was not present for Hasselbeck's last day.

After Hasselbeck announced on Tuesday that she will be moving on to co-host Fox & Friends come September, Sherri Shepherd was not on the show for her tearful farewell. Hasselbeck jokingly addressed Shepherd, 46, not being there as a "protest of absence," but did say the two had spoken on the phone about her departure. The Republican co-host gushed over Shepherd, referring to her as her "sister in Christ."

The compliments didn't stop there! The 36-year-old called Whoopi Goldberg one of the most "talented artists on the planet," adding that she was "blessed" to call herself a friend of the Oscar winner.

"I just think you're the cat's meow," Goldberg, 57, told her co-host. "May we both continue to grow."

Addressing her political spars over the past 10 years with 70-year-old Joy Behar, who's also leaving the daytime talk show, Hasselbeck said she "honors" the conversations they've had and is grateful for the times Behar made her laugh even when she didn't want to.

As for Barbara Walters, Hasselbeck called the renowned journalist her mentor. "I think it's fair to say that over the course of the decade I feel that I have attended Barbara Walters School of Broadcast and Journalism," she began, fighting back tears. "I feel more than prepared because all that you've given me to move forward. ...I can't ask for a better leader and mentor."

Addressing The View audience, Hasselbeck said, "Thanks for everyone who's been out there watching. ...The last 10 years have been nothing more than extraordinary."
