Kristin Says Cory's Death Still Doesn't Seem Real

Kristin Chenoweth was a fan favorite guest star on Glee and now the former GCB star is sharing her feelings on the tragic death of Cory Monteith.
"I'm so sad about it," said Chenoweth, when asked about the shocking passing of the 31-year-old Glee star.
Chenoweth -- who was attending an event Monday night presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences that featured a tribute to TV comedy icon Carol Burnett -- added that she got to know Cory working on the hit FOX series and also spent a little time with him outside of work.
"I only met him through work -- a couple of times we were out together. I knew him professionally, and that's exactly what he was," she said. "I don't get to go on that show anymore, but I would love to see the cast do a beautiful tribute, he deserves it. And I know for them it would be healing. I still can't quite believe it's real."
Also stopping by to chat was the Emmy Award-winning Burnett, 80, who looked back on the high points of her illustrious career and reflected on what she sees as her legacy. "That I made people laugh," she said. "That I made people feel good and maybe forget their troubles for an hour."
