'Baby Sellers' Exclusive: Kirstie Alley Menaces

By

We've seen Kirstie Alley in a variety of roles, but for the upcoming Lifetime film Baby Sellers, the veteran actress takes on the chillingly dark role of an infant trafficker. ETonline has exclusively obtained the film's 90-second trailer.

Alley plays the role of "Carla Huxley," an owner of an adoption agency based in the U.S. that makes prospective parents dreams come true by connecting them with an adopted child.

However, as suggested by the film's title and seen in the trailer as well, behind Alley's character's endearing façade is a very sinister side, as her character is a ruthless director of an immoral racket that takes any means necessary to obtain children for the adoption agency.

Also starring in the film, which is inspired by true events of global illegal human trafficking, is Emmy-winning former Bold and the Beautiful actress Jennifer Finnigan, who plays Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agent "Nic Morrison."

In an attempt to stifle Huxley's illegal operation, Finnigan's character goes on an undercover mission.
