"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we're really not. We're thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys [the show's executive producers] to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music," LeAnn and Eddie said in a statement.

LeAnn explained to ET her reasons for doing a reality show when we caught up with the singer at an anti-bullying benefit concert in July.

"It seems like everyone talks about our lives all the time, so we might as well have fun with our own lives," she said. "I mean, people think they know what it is, but it's really a 180 from what people think they know. ... People think I serve coffee in a bikini, I might as well start doing in on TV."

Though she stressed that there will be certain aspects of their lives that will be off-limits to the cameras.

"Lots and lots would be off limits -- it might not look like it, but it would be," she said. "We would never do a normal reality show with cameras following us around 24/7. ... I have two stepkids -- they would never be on television. There's certain things that would never happen."
