'SYTYCD' Week 6: Say Hello to the Top 10!

'SYTYCD' Week 6: Say Hello to the Top 10!

After six weeks of memorable routines, sustained injuries and emotional eliminations on So You Think You Can Dance, the top 10 have been chosen. And after what have been some of the strongest pairings on the show, next week the remaining couples will be split up and paired with an all-star. For some, this is the end of an era.

"Since our first performance, when we did it once we knew we could do it over and over and over again," Fik-Shun said about what he'll miss most about his partner Amy. "And I feel like it felt good to get used to that to have reassurance, you know, that when you step on stage with you partner you're going to connect no matter what."

The standout routines of the night predictably belonged to the couples who've been paired together since the first live show. Makenzie and Paul, Jasmine and Aaron, and Amy and Fik-Shun not only garnered thunderous standing ovations from the judges and the audience but their routines were truly the perfect send-off to their solid partnerships throughout the season.

For Nigel, the kudos goes doubly to the choreographers.

"I thought the choreographers were the stars this week. They really gave us some routines that were outstanding and therefore helped the dancers look amazing," he quipped.
