Marg Helgenberger to Return for 300th CSI Episode
To help celebrate the show's 300th episode, former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Marg Helgenberger is set to reprise her role as Catherine Willows to help the team solve a cold case that has haunted them for 14 years.
In an announcement Tuesday, CBS said Helgenberger would be joining Ted Danson, Elisabeth Shue, George Eads and other cast members for CSI's Season 14 premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m.
The episode's storyline focuses on the team's investigation of a homicide in the home of a reclusive former casino mogul who was a suspect in a similar crime in 2000. The CSI team recalls who they were and where they were in order to solve the cold case.
Helgenberger, 54, appeared on the show for 12 seasons before her last episode aired Jan. 25, 2012.
