Which Fall TV Shows Have Everyone Buzzing?

With the fall TV season debuting this month, ET takes a look at the shows that are spawning the most buzz before they premiere.

Among the bevy of highly anticipated shows is the heart-pounding thriller Hostages, which is set to premiere on CBS on September 23, starring Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette.

"Everybody has a secret in this show," McDermott previews. "Black is white, white is black. We're going to fool everybody and twist things. What you think you know, you don't know."

While a tease like that would pique anyone's interest in the exhilarating new show, there are a handful of other shows that TV lovers are also eagerly awaiting to see.

Joining Hostages in the anticipated thriller genre is The Blacklist, which centers on one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives.

Thrillers are hardly the only anticipated series this fall, though. A plethora of new comedies are coming to television, including Rebel Wilson's Super Fun Night and Robin Williams' and Michael J. Fox's anticipated returns to TV.
