Finally, a pulpit to speak his mind about his paparazzi scuffles... Alec Baldwin will host a weekly night-time talk show on MSNBC in the 10 p.m. timeslot on Fridays beginning in October.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Up Late with Alec Baldwin will feature the left-leaning Baldwin taking on current events and culture. MSNBC president Phil Griffin says of the news, "I've been talking with Alec for a while and can't wait to bring his personality and eclectic interests to MSNBC. He's got such passion for ideas and what's going on in the world -- he's going to be a great addition to our line-up."
Offscreen, Baldwin has already been fine-tuning his interviewing skills with his popular WNYW podcast Here's the Thing, for which he's interviewed celebrities, musicians, sports stars, political pundits and many of his Saturday Night Live pals.
