Exclusive: 'SAF3' Clip Channels Vintage 'Baywatch'
Is the world ready for a reincarnation of the long-running '90s beach rescue series Baywatch? The CW apparently thinks so with the launch of its new action-drama SAF3, and ETonline scored an exclusive promo teaser for the show.
In the new clips for the series -- created by Baywatch producer Greg Bonann and starring Dolph Lundgren as the leader of an elite team of rescue specialists -- it's clear that the show, just like Baywatch, will blend dramatic fire and water rescues with sexy imagery of shirtless heroes and orange bikini-clad babes walking down sunset-lit beaches.

The series follows Southern California's elite, multi-agency task force known as SAF3, which includes cream-of-the-crop lifeguards, firefighters and Coast Guard officers. Each episode will center on major rescues involving all three services.
SAF3 premieres this Sunday, September 22 on The CW.
