On Tuesday's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake and host Jimmy Fallon teamed up for a hilarious parody skit poking fun at the rampant use of hashtags.

Beginning with Twitter and migrating to other social media platforms, the hashtag was originally intended to group messages on social media, but its use has since invaded nearly every tweet or Facebook post.

Fallon isn't immune to the hashtag craze, as he routinely hosts a "Late Night Hashtags" segment on his show during which he prompts his viewers to share tweets using hashtags like "#MyWeirdTeacher," "#MyRoomateIsWeird," and "#ParentFail."

Nevertheless, comedic genius ensues when he and Timberlake poke fun at the overuse of hashtags as they have a conversation with hashtags galore.
